Over the summer I read the fiction novel Stick Cat by Tom Watson. Hazel the bagel maker is in grave danger in the alleyway across from stick cat’s apartment. Sick cat and Edith now they have to help. He’ll use his smarts and Edith will use her appetite to devise a rescue plan. The question is can Stick Cat and Edith save Hazel ? This book has everything from bagel crumbs in the sink to a fire escape window with a great view of the city it is the book for you
Stick cat and Edith have to rescue Hazel the bagel maker but they can’t get a across the alleyway where she lives. Stick cat Had no ideas at first but Edith did, she jumped up and said I know and said we could use these napkins and use them as parachutes because there building was higher. Stick cat said there is no way I'm doing that are you crazy. No are you Edith said. No stick cat said but I have a plan we could use the napkin to slide down on to Hazels window. Edith said ok but my idea is better. So then they went on with stick cats plan Edith grabbed 2 napkins and went to the window. Stick cat went first and then Edith and ten that zipped into Hazels apartment and looked around for a floaty like item. They found a big bagel sing and through it into the big pot of bagel dough and then hazel got onto it and got out.
It is one of my favourite books because the main car centers are cartoon cats two of my favourite things .I recommend to people how like cats a adventure stories. This book is the second in a series of 3 I read the first and liked it to it is Stick Cat day in the life. The third book comes out October 3rd I’ll read it as soon as it comes out.
